Access to Higher Education: Criminal Justice and Policing Level 3 Full-time (FPUB)

The Access to Higher Education (HE) Diploma is a qualification which prepares students for study at degree level. If you would like to go to university and don’t have the necessary qualifications, then an Access to HE course could be for you. This course is for those interested in a career in the criminal justice, policing and forces industry.

Assessment will occur continually throughout the programme. You will have unit assignments to complete and will be assessed on your practical ability. You will also have time-constrained assignments, as well as oral presentations. Each individual unit and the full award are graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction.

•A keen interest and willingness to be involved in the criminal justice or policing industry

•GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C or above. Equivalent qualifications will be accepted

•You will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Services check

On completion of this programme, you could apply for training in a career such as BA/BSc (Hons) or foundation degree within the Public Service sector.
