Course Summary

The course is designed to give adults with additional learning needs opportunities to:

Develop confidence

Learn new skills

Enhance communication and social skills

Improve wellbeing and life skills

Meet new people and make new friends

Develop their independence and employability skills

Course Details

Pick and Mix sessions could include:

Arts and crafts

Cookery and domestic skills

Creative media

Independent living skills

IT and computer basics

Leisure and community

Maths and English

Enterprise Employability skills

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Personalised learning through individual targets and progress reviews.

Entry requirements

An assessment by the College identifying if individual needs can be met.

The course has no other entry requirements and is designed for adults over 19 with additional needs and learning difficulties who have been out of education for some time and want to develop their skills.

All equipment will be provided.
