Course Summary

If you want a career in the Brickwork trade then this apprenticeship is for you. The building industry is currently vibrant and now would be the ideal time to get qualified.

Course Details

You will study units from the list below which relate to your job role.

•Analysing technical information, quantities and communication with others

•Analysing the construction industry and built environment •Construct complex masonry structures

•Construct decorative features •Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries

•Repair and maintain masonry structures

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be assessed by your assessor using a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstrations and assignments. You will be assessed both in College and in your place of work.

Entry requirements

•You will need to have successfully completed the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Bricklaying (Level 2)

•You will need to find an employer to employ you as an apprentice.

Equipment required

You will be required to provide paper, writing materials, A4 ring binder file, extra wide dividers and clear plastic wallets.
