Course Summary
The course includes a broad range of modules which cover the key areas of modern business giving you a well-rounded knowledge base and the confidence to work as a professional within any organisation.
The range of subjects you will study include marketing, finance, human resource management, business strategy, international business and entrepreneurship.
You will also have the opportunity to develop an array of key transferable skills sought after by employers. These include strategic and critical thinking, problem solving, working with others, leadership and negotiation.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Most modules are assessed on 100% coursework, with some modules being assessed by a mixture of coursework and module exams. Assessment methods are assignment based and may include practical projects including presentations, group activities, written reports or research projects.
Entry requirements
Entry onto the course requires the following UCAS tariff equivalents.
A minimum of 60 points selected from any of the following:
BTEC Level 3 in Business: (equivalent grades accepted: Extended Diploma: Merit, Pass, Pass, Diploma: Merit, Merit, 90-Credit Diploma: Distinction, Merit)
AS / 2 Level profile which shows a strong performance in relevant subjects
Access to HE (Business), with a minimum of 12 credits at Merit grade from a QAA recognised course
Another related Level 3 qualification
Plus:
GCSE grades 4/C or above including English and maths or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths. Also considered is a minimum of one year related work experience (paid and/or unpaid) and/or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in the work sector will be considered.
This qualification is suitable only for learners aged 18 years or over. Students will take part in an interview prior to being enrolled on the programme and a good personal reference will be required.

This qualification may enable you to claim accredited prior learning against an undergraduate qualification dependent on the institution’s entry policy and the programme that you are considering.
