Ceramics (Beginners and Intermediate) Part-time (FADF)

This fun, hands-on course is guaranteed to get your wheels spinning and enable you to create your very own work of art. Whether you are looking to start a new career or simply unleash your creativity, this part-time course could be your stepping stone.

The course is aimed at those who are new to Ceramics wanting to explore the subject by starting with the basics and those who are wishing to gain confidence before extending their knowledge further.

You will be shown over a 10-week period (two hours a week) a variety of techniques and a basic introduction to ceramics and pottery which will enable you to improve and develop your skills in producing their own personal ceramic art and craftwork. This will include an introduction to different techniques utilized within this discipline and will include working with both clay and ceramic materials in our specialized college workshop.
