Course Summary

If you love a curry but the idea of cooking your own from scratch makes you break into a sweat, this cookery class is for you. Curry is one of the countries most popular dishes, whether you are a complete beginner or home cook this course will help you understand spices and ingredients and gives you the experience of preparing authentic Asian style food. Course Details

Each week you will learn to make a different Asian curry whether that be Indian, Thai or Chinese. You will also make an accompaniment each week such as bhajis, dim sum and naan bread. These are bespoke classes and the tutor welcomes input from the class on recipes and will customise sessions to accommodate this. We’ll cover specific preparation techniques, such as how to slice an onion and the importance of choosing the correct variety, the significance of marinating meat for different curry dishes and the intricate formulas associated with mixing Indian spices.
