ICT Functional Skills Level 1 Part-time (FCMP)

This qualification is suitable for individuals seeking personal and professional development in ICT. The course helps candidates develop their ICT skills and gain a recognised qualification equivalent to a grade D or 3 at GCSE. You’ll develop your ICT skills and learn how to use them in real-life situations.

Functional skills qualifications in information and communication technology (ICT) assess three interrelated skill areas:

•Using ICT systems

•finding and selecting information

•developing, presenting and communicating information

At the end of the course learners will complete an online/paper –based ICT test.

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, however an interest in developing your ICT skills is desirable.

Learners can continue to develop their ICT skills by progressing onto Functional Skills ICT Level 2
