Leadership and Team Skills Award Level 2 Part-time (FBMS)

We offer courses awarded by either CMI (Chartered Management Institute) or ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management)

The Award in Leadership and Team Skills is a short introductory programme suitable for you if you are a new or aspiring team leader.

You will be required to attend classes and attend individual tutorial sessions to support your learning.

The course is aimed at helping you make the transition from working in a team to leading and becoming more effective and confident in your role.

You will participate in lectures, group discussion, assessment, and team exercises.

The course has a credit value of three and consists of the following units:

Units are assessed by reflective reviews or short answer questions.

Participants will normally be either practising or aspiring team or cell leaders. There are no formal educational requirements but learners should have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme. GCSE English and maths grade A* to C are desirable. All candidates will be interviewed before being accepted onto the programme.

Successful learners will be able to progress onto:

•ILM Level 2 Certificate in Leadership and Team Skills

•ILM Level 3 Award
