Sewing Bee Part-time (FADF)

Immerse yourself in your creativity and discover the joy of sewing with this course. Learn to machine sew, develop your skills and feel a sense of achievement when you take home an original creation. This practical sewing course will familiarise you with the basics of sewing, helping you to build your confidence with a sewing machine. You will get the chance to make an item of clothing from pattern cutting to the finished product.

Each course of the Barnsley Sewing Bee will have 5 weeks of learning basic sewing machine skills and a range of techniques from seams, to zips, to buttons and more. The remaining 5 weeks will give you the freedom to use these skills to make whatever you like whether it be a fashionable top, a quirky bag or some soft home décor.
