This study programme will cover a range of the topics and units at each level, some of which are listed below:
You will study Health & Safety as a mandatory unit plus:
Level 1
• Vehicle body repair
• Vehicle refinish
• Steering & suspension
• Vehicle inspection
• Vehicle body repair
• Vehicle refinish
Level 2
• Body repair techniques
• Working with others
• Repair and preparation of body panels
Level 3
• Advanced body repair techniques
• Removing, replacing and repairing vehicle body panels
• Rectifying vehicle misalignment
How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will attend practical sessions in our fully equipped motor vehicle workshops and theory lessons in the classroom.
Entry requirements
Level 1
3 GCSEs 9-1
OR
Entry 3 and English and maths
Level 2 Certificate
5 GCSEs 9-3 including English and maths
OR
Level 1 Body/Paint or equivalent with English and maths at grade 3
Level 2 Diploma
5 GCSEs 9-3 including English and maths
OR
Leve 2 Certificate Body Repair and working towards GCSE grade 4 or above in English and maths
Level 3
5 GCSEs 9-4 including English or maths
And
Level 2 Diploma
