Our BTEC Level 3 Business qualification is available as a number of options. Your choice will depend on your future career plans.

This qualification supports a huge range of careers in the Business industry, and progression to degree level study.

Do you want to develop a deep understanding of the world of business, and how actions and decisions deliver results? Our BTEC Business qualification combines both theory and practical activity, opening up a world of opportunity for you!

The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business is a three A Level equivalent, so it is a full time study programme and is therefore ideal if you have decided on a career or degree in Business. You will cover all of the topics offered by our 1 and 2 A Level equivalent courses along with a number of additional units.

Your topics will see you preparing for further study or employment and give you a wide and comprehensive understanding of business activity and the role of management in controlling this.

Over the two years you will study the following units:

• Principles of Management
• Business Decision Making

Alongside these units you will also study an additional six units. These will cover a range of topics to allow you a wider choice in your future progression.

• Investigating Retail Business
• Market Research
• Work Experience in Business

This is a dynamic, hands on and unique course that will see you learn by completing projects, carrying out research and developing your assignments. You will enjoy developing your knowledge through trips, visits and speakers and through preparing for and running your own business based fundraising event here at College!
