Economics equips students with th eknowledge and analytical tools to make sense of the workd around them and the skills to apply them to issues ranging in scale from the personal to the global in the hope of finding solutions. Economics often involves learning from history to understand the present and build a better future

Three written Exams; Paper 1 - 33.3% of A Level, Paper 2 - 33.3% of A Level, Paper 3 - 33.3% of A Level

Entry requirements

5 or more standard GCSE passes or higher (grade 4 or higher) including GCSE Maths and either English Language or English Literature at a grade 4 or above. If a student is applying for a course in a subject that they have studied at GCSE it is expected that a student would have achieved at least a standard pass (grade 4) in this subject.

Strong numearcy skills are required on this course.
