Course Summary

Sport is increasingly becoming a part of everyday life for more and more people. That could be watching the Diamond League Athletics Competition, taking part in a Sunday league football fixture or County level cricket.

Being involved in sport benefits our physical and mental wellbeing. We are seeing increasing participation rates in sport and positive media coverage continues to raise awareness of these health benefits.

If you have a passion for sport, A Level PE will support your journey to a desired career in a sport related area.

Course Details

This course covers topics such as: anatomy and physiology, skill acquisition, sport and society, biomechanics, sports psychology and technology in sport. A Level PE offers a holistic and in-depth insight into a wide range of important and interesting topics.
